Hi, this is Parisa, based in Dublin, a UX & Product
Designer with 2+ years of experience.

Experiences at Working in AI Mental health, E-Learning Dashboard and Saas, Navigation and Food Delivery Industries.
I started my journey in architectural design, fascinated by how spaces shape human experiences. But as I explored different creative fields, I realized my real passion wasn’t just in structures—it was in designing experiences that people interact with every day.
With a master’s in visual communication and a love for both art and technology, I found my way into UX & product design, where I could blend creativity with problem-solving. From user research to interaction design, I thrive on crafting solutions that feel intuitive, meaningful, and genuinely improve people’s lives.
For me, design isn’t just about making things look good—it’s about making them work beautifully. I’m always learning, exploring, and pushing boundaries to create products that don’t just function but truly connect with people.
Work Experience and Skills.
Unwind, Product Designer.
Sep 2024- Present.
When I joined Unwind, I knew I wanted to work on something meaningful—something that genuinely helps people. Designing for mental health isn’t just about pretty interfaces; it’s about creating a space where users feel safe, supported, and understood.
I worked closely with ML engineers, stakeholders, data scientists, and developers to design experiences that feel natural and engaging, ensuring that AI interactions were warm rather than robotic. My focus was on user research, interaction design, and prototyping, where I conducted usability tests to refine our product based on real feedback.
It’s been an incredible journey finding that balance between AI-driven technology and human-centered design. Every day, I get to explore how design can shape people’s well-being, and that’s something I deeply care about.

Youlearnt, UX Researcher & Designer Intern.
Aug to Nov 2024.
Stepping into UX research at Youlearnt was eye-opening. I always loved understanding how people think and interact with technology, but this was the first time I got to dive deep into real user pain points.
I worked on improving the tutor dashboard experience, interviewing educators of different age groups and backgrounds to learn about their struggles. Since the platform had to support multiple languages, we also had to think about accessibility and localisation. One moment that stuck with me was when a tutor told me, “I just want to spend more time teaching, not figuring out how to use this system.” That was a lightbulb moment—design should never get in the way of the actual experience.
By the end of my time there, we had streamlined the dashboard, making it way easier to navigate. Seeing tutors feel more confident using the platform was incredibly rewarding, and it reinforced my love for human-centered design.

Freelancer, Graphic & UI/ UX Designer.
2021 - 2022
Freelancing taught me everything they don’t teach you in design school—how to communicate with clients, manage expectations, and solve real-world problems without a perfect brief.
I worked on branding and UI designs for small businesses, creating logos and digital identities that reflected their values. One of my favorite projects was designing a concept food delivery app, where I explored how to make ordering food effortless and intuitive. Even though it never launched, it was a great learning experience in wireframing, prototyping, and refining user flows.
The best part? Seeing my designs actually being used in real life. Freelancing gave me the confidence to trust my instincts, experiment with different styles, and truly understand how design impacts businesses.

Nogam, Product Expert & Market Researcher.
2018 - 2020
Before diving into UX, I was all about understanding products and markets—which, looking back, was actually my first step into user experience.
At Nogam, I spent my time analyzing customer feedback, researching trends, and figuring out what people actually needed. It was fascinating to see how small tweaks in a product could completely change how people interacted with it.
I worked on projects where we tested different pricing models, feature sets, and user flows, all with one goal: making the product better for the people using it. While I wasn’t officially a designer back then, this role helped me develop a user-first mindset, which I carry into every design decision I make today.

Beyond Design.
Steps, Sketches & Stories
When I step away from my design work, I dive into the things that keep my creativity alive. Dancing has always been a way for me to express myself, it gives me a sense of freedom and energy that fuels my creativity.
I also love doodle painting—there’s something special about putting pen to paper without overthinking, letting ideas flow in the most spontaneous way. It’s a reminder that creativity doesn’t always have to be polished or perfect—it’s about exploration and expression.

And when I need to slow down, you’ll find me lost in a good book. I’m always drawn to books that challenge my perspective or spark new ideas. I believe that the best designs don’t just come from screens but from observing, experiencing, and understanding the world in new ways. Creativity isn’t just part of my work, it’s a way of life.
